It only takes a moment for a life to change. Blog #1
Thanks to the invention of machines like the MRI scan we understand more about the human mind and its potential in the last few decades than in the whole history of humanity altogether. We can now see what actually happens in the brain as we shift state and mode. Until now all we thought was true about the mind was a wild pin the tail on the donkey experiment played by medicine men dressed up in white. Remember that psychology is no more no less than the evolution of philosophy, a random collection of opinions…
And that explains for instance why until 1992 the world health organisation considered homosexuality like a mental disorder, allowing for “mental health professionals” to attempt curing homosexuals using barbaric methods like lobotomies, chemical castration and electro shock therapy throughout the 50s, 60s and the 70s…
So what do I take from that ? When it comes to addressing mental imbalances it is difficult to know who to trust and where to seek help. I as a matter of fact had my fair share of therapists that have never helped me with anything except wasting my time on their sofas and giving me some extra drugs to get high on.
I have been treated and diagnosed with suicidal manic depression and schizophrenia for 2 decades with no relief from society or the medical system in any shape or form. I started my young adulthood homeless, class A drug addict and eventually turned into a self destructive functioning alcoholic until the age of 38. I stopped seeking therapy in the 90s when a doctor in the compulsory army introduction center told me that my life belonged to the government, so if I was planning to attempt taking my life again they would have to protect their asset by locking me and drugging me so hard I would probably never remember my own name ever again. No compassion or humanity, just a flash back of coldness and cluelessness from barbaric people wearing the powerful white blouse I read from.
In 2008 an incredible twist of fate that I can only compare to surviving a plane crash has turned my mindset and personal life around. I became in an instant teetotal, happy, healthy and balanced and I haven’t had a bad day ever since. I started my mission to help others by starting a career into the fitness industry. As I grew into becoming a strength and conditioning coach for sport performance I delved into mindset optimisation for my athletes, and realised mindset was so much more than just sport performance, so I redirected my energy towards learning as much as I could about the mind, our relation with it and anything that can enhance it.
Eventually I opened my mindset and mindfulness coaching practice in January 2017. As I continued my education to gather as much tools as I could to help others I jumped at the opportunity to learn directly from Marisa Peer, a worldwide leading psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, international speaker and best selling author.
I learned at her seminar that just like me she has been frustrated by the apathy and inefficiency of the whole mental health industry for decades, and that prompted her to start teaching her own protocol to other people. A system that has worked for all of her clients for 30 years, including the Royal family, Hollywood stars, world class athletes and many of the top richest people in the world (basically everyone that have access to everything and yet couldn’t find a solution to their problem).
I was so impressed by the end of the seminar that I decided to invest all my time and energy using that protocol to heal people. That system is called RTT. It stands for Rapid Transformational Therapy and it does what it says on the tin: it transforms lives rapidly. It works. Beautifully. Quickly. Spectacularly.
I am an RTT coach, I am obsessed with my work and I will write about what I do on LinkedIn every Wednesday from now on, using anonymous RTT stories of success borrowed from my clients at my practice and my personal experience. Any comment please do fire them out at me and I will do my best to reply ASAP. Thank you for reading…
