The power and the beauty of our scars. Blog #23
There is a Universe
The Universe is everything in space and time. The Universe is chaos. Within that chaos everything makes sense in the sense that everything is connected thus symbiotic. The Universe doesn't know or care about good or bad. The Universe only knows one thing: it takes polarities to create energy and movement...
The Universe needs both a positive and a negative to create electricity, it needs both hot and cold to create weather fluctuations, it needs both a man and a woman to create a baby. If there was such thing as good and bad then men are good and women are bad, yet we know this to be untrue... The philosophy of the Yin and the Yang illustrates precisely that principle. Each half contains some element of its antagonist, neither is superior or inferior, therefore judgement is obsolete.
We judge and label everything all the time
Our brain creates associations from the minute we are born so we can own a map of the world and keep safe from danger. As a result we develop the belief that all things must be labelled, including people and events, and that further proliferates into judgements.Essentially, judging is labelling something being good or bad, and we forget that labelling people with moral values is as terribly disempowering a habit than labelling events happening into our life. They both stem from insecurity and fear ( fear of rejection when we judge people and pre emptive paranoia when we judge events) and they hold us back into a survival mode when we could be blissfully happy in the knowledge that we have always been and we always will be supported by the Universe.
We are the judge, the jury, the executioner... and the defendant all at once
Out of all the people we judge we are by far the worst and main recipient of all criticism. Every time we judge others we judge ourselves because people are mirrors and the only reason we react and condemn others is to exorcise whatever action or traits they own that would jeopardise their place in society according to our belief system . Judging others is to tell everyone and our alter ego "our conscience" that we have nothing to do with them. I reject them to secure my place in the world, burn the witch, I am one of the good ones. We also judge ourselves directly every moment we allow our inner critic's opinion to affect us, which is for many constantly.
Finally we judge events in our life. We identify to random external circumstances and more often than not we beat ourselves up emotionally and unnecessarily with the guilt, the shame, the fear and the anger generated by our interpretations of events... We say for instance:" I am having a bad day" and we are now powerless victims of some cosmic forces that are stealing our happiness for the rest of the day, oblivious to the fact that we can shift our state at any moment, regardless of how our day has started. Whichever way we look at it, judging people or events is detrimental to our well being and rarely beneficial to others.
Kintsugi
There is a Japanese art form and philosophy that highlights and enhances breakages instead of condemning them. It is called Kintsugi or Kintsukuroi. Broken pottery is repaired with gold, silver or platinum as a gesture and symbol of embracing flaws and imperfections. Whatever we judge can be heightened instead and so must we practice in regards to whatever we dislike about ourselves and our past if we want to find inner peace and ground for healing and growth.
Change the labels subconsciously and consciously
We can't control any outcome, only influence them through our actions and reactions and since there is no Universal truth, only interpretations and labels, we want to change and select optimal labels to suit our life.
RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy) is the protocol I use to change my client's set of beliefs, associations, values, rules and labels from the subconscious mind. We go back in regression through hypnosis, their mind take us back to various places, events and times that have shaped any specific belief creating an imbalance into their life today. Once I have disarmed those memories from all negative energy I recharge them with power and empowerment that turns and supercharge those imprints into positive and constructive beliefs, serving their well being, balance, happiness and purpose.
Mindfulness, the Law of Attraction and various Mindset techniques are the tool box I use to teach how to do that from a conscious mind perspective, to guarantee full and long term results.
It is important however to highlight the need for the vast majority of us to use therapy before coaching, as we all carry baggages and blockages of some sorts, and until we get rid of them we won't be able to embrace our full potential and thrive as we are too busy surviving. RTT also creates a shock to the system that allows for the door of the subconscious mind to stay open, long enough to tidy up our life from the mind. So once the thorn under the foot has been removed, a solid new mindset based on love, acceptance and empowerment drives my clients every day to success.
There is no win or loose, only win or learn
I like to take that very popular combat sport motto one level up: There is no win or learn, only learn or learn, and when you learn you always win.
Whatever happens to us is always the best thing the Universe has decided to give us right here and right now, no matter how difficult, confusing or painful it may seem then. It is only when we realise that there are no good or bad in life, only lessons, that we can learn from them and start to move forward and upward.
